Best part about writing fic in the park: whenever I want to throw my laptop at a tree because agh writing, someone walking their dog goes past and it is hard to stay irritated when a giant delightful golden retriever has just been smiling and chilling because dog dog dog
Someone should write the actual mathematical formula for the relationship between the increasing time since you’ve written something and the progressively higher levels of shame and cringe you feel about it when you reread it/attempt to revise it
(This should also take into account variables such as feedback and also whether the piece in question had horse dicks in it)
